It’s been 4 months since clementine got her Carcinomatosis diagnosis and got the hormone implant.

About 1 week after the implantation Clementine stopped eating and she became very weakened. Her poops were tiny and light green, and she puffed herself up in 70 degree weather. She then went through a very heavy molt.

It took 4 WHOLE MONTHS!! For her appetite to return and gain back some energy. She had not laid an egg since. Her feathers are growing back and she became more active and talkative. Her poops still fluctuate with texture but overall she has good, solid poops.

She has lost 2 or so pounds and her swollen belly has shrunk almost completely. I used to be able to fit only a fist under her belly, now I can fit two! Her breathing became a lot better and she no longer pants excessively.

Overall I recommend the implant to anyone who can get it, especially for reproductive cancer. The vet warned that if she laid an egg it would likely get stuck due to her tumors. The weight loss helped my particular chicken and now she appears a lot healthier!
