I moved to Clemmons, North Carolina last year & want to learn about keeping a few chickens here.
Do you have chickens in Clemmons?
Do you know if the Village of Clemmons has any restrictions?

Yes, I am new to keeping chickens.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Zero.
(3) What breeds do you have?
None.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I'd like to see them walking around the yard, and maybe get some fresh eggs for chicken feed
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Card games and board games, music, & gardening.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
My girlfriend, Mary, and I live in a big house on 1+ acres, on a lake. Mary has two grown daughters, and one infant granddaughter. We have no pets here yet. I am a retired Computer Engineer, Mary is a retired Computer Analyst.

I just found you today using a search engine.

Nice to have you here! Have you checked if your town/village has an ordinance regarding chickens? You can also check the forum section about ordinances here, maybe someone is familiar with your area. If you have a feed store locally they may know about local rules and regulations
