A few of our younger guineas are at that age where they can hop on top of the coop and fly out of the pen but they can't fly back in, so we have to put them back every day.
The weather here is awful today. DBF was outside on the patio early this morning, when three adolscent guineas came marching around the house, looked at him, and started squawking. Ha! They wanted back in the coop! Clever birds :)

[IMG] Ours do the same thing! So they either walk around the chicken run trying to figure out how to get back in all day, or walk the yard and be happy, or just wait til I let the chickens out to free range and they can go back in......... but heres what I dont get.... in the evenings when its time to roost they suddenly remember they can fly to the top and roost on the chicken run rails or on top of the chicken coop............. silly birds [IMG]
