(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I am new, no chickens yet. I want to build a coop first.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
None- 15 to 20 is what I plan on.
(3) What breeds do you have?
I'm interested in leghorns & bantams. Still determining a breed for meat.

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I look forward to seeing my 2 young boys with the chickens.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Hunting & gardening. Rock hound & spelunker.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I've been married about 10 years. My wife and I have a 2 & 4 year old (both boys). I'm an appraiser. We're down to one dog right now. Just moved to the country, so I'm looking forward to putting my land to use.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? . I happened upon BYC by accident while researching.
