Nina is my bird that has always been sick she(?) is about 12 weeks old and rather stunted. She had chronic pasty butt and also ended up with cocci. Those things have been better for weeks now.. We were trying to introduce her and her cage mates to my girls outside and had them in a rabbit cage out in the run. I was out one day and it poured rain. Although the top of the cage was covered I knew rain was probably blowing it so I called home and asked my brother to lay a piece of tin over the cage. Once I eventually got home I looked outside and the cage had never gotten covered. The other two birds didn't care much but Nina was scared and soaking wet. I rinsed her in warm water and blow dried her and fed her. Now nearly a week later and her breathing clicks. What is the best treatment option? I have a tractor supply pretty close or a southern states 20 minutes out.

I got some pen aqueous and have her 1/5 cc. She is so small that I was forced to inject her in her leg. How often should she get the medicine? Is the doseage ok?

Anyone??

She isn't clicking anymore. Should I still keep treating? Should I treat her cage mates?

A couple of hours ago my sister said Nina was about to die. According to my brother she had been laying on her side for about two hours. I don't know what happened. I went to give her more pen earlier on but I must've hit vein because she was bleeding a little. I just backed out.. I didn't want to stress her more by jabbing her again.
After I heard she was about to die I went to et her. I held her wrapped up in a shirt. She barely moved at all and kept her eyes closed. After about 5 minutes she opened her eyes wide and started seizing. That was the end of it. She was a special chicken that we worked hard to keep alive.. Part of me always doubted her survival though. She was have the size of the others and had been through so much.
