my boyfriend and I want to get ducklings for his farm pond... we would be getting them from tractor supply... i know nothing about ducks but i know that i dont want them to fly away and never come back!!! my bf says we should clip their wings... any thoughts...
Most of the breeds that TSC carries are flightless. The only ones you would have to worry about are the mallards. the other breeds they carry are to heavy to lift them selves more than a foot or two off the ground and only rarely with PLENTY of space to achieve even that. No clipping necessary
