Will clipping the flight feathers keep them off my neighbor's fence (5 ft chain link fence ) and out of the mouths of his great danes?

Maybe - it depends on the breed(s) and age. Younger/lighter weight birds and some breeds can easily "hop" that high or higher. I used to big, heavy buckeyes - very laid back and non-flighty that could easily "hop" over our 6 ft privacy fence and I usually found them "roosting" on top of the 6ft tall coop at night - nightly ritual of getting them down and inside... and yes, their wings were kept clippedMost of my birds as juveniles could "hop" up to 5ft. even with clipped wingsWill clipping the flight feathers keep them off my neighbor's fence (5 ft chain link fence ) and out of the mouths of his great danes?
