I have 6 hens.. during the day they 'free range' on our block of 1/4 acre.. however! 1 hen is adventurous and likes to fly to the top of the fences which are about 7' high! I'm scared of her going over as they're are dogs in 2 of the yards in which we share a fence. Will clipping her wings prevent her from reaching such heights? The other 5 are happy to spend the day looking for bugs and scratching around but this one is well the trouble maker of the group and I would hate to loose her!
