Does anyone get their chickens wings clipped or how do you feel about it?
I don't have chickens but I always clip my bantam duck's wings.
if you want to keep them from flying away its a good idea but you should only clip one wing on one side!! this will throw them off balance when they go to try and fly if you clip both sides some are still able to fly hope that helps
I would imagine it depends on the bird. Some large fowls can't fly well at all, like Orpingtons, so they would not need it. Then there are some bantams that are very good fliers for chickens. They could be done. Just realize you are crippling their ability to go up and roost.
