We are new to raising chickens and are wondering at what age we can clip their wings. They have a large coop, however, we have 20 acres and would like to let them free range sometimes but I'm afraid we won't be able to round them all back up if they can fly.

You can't round up chickens. It's like herding cats. Clipping wings won't help cause they can run faster than you can.
Clipping wings is to prevent them from flying out of backyards into a neighbors yard with dogs.
Lock them in the coop for 4 days or so until they get used to sleeping in there and they'll always put themselves to bed at dusk. No worries.
When locking them up for days, make sure the ventilation is adequate.
