4 and 5 week olds in the chicken stroller today. It was a great day here it is 77* right now. No wind, perfect weather. It is dusk here and neighbors must of decided to let thier dogs go for a run.

We live in town. There is a leash law. The dogs growled at my DH when he was trying to get them to leave. He was looking for something to get them with. I threw a screwdriver and a wire brush at them. They took off. They will be back tho I am sure. The big girls had just gone in after their daily 2 hours of free ranging. Whew!! Havent had dog problems in a long time. Glad my DH and DS were outside. Don't really think the dogs could get in with the chicks my DH built the thing like fort knox. But the little girls were sure scared to death. I brought them back inside. It is getting down into the 40's at night. Maybe gonna add a inclosed box and put a light for them outside this week. May have to call the dog catcher. Don't know where they belong or I would go have a little talk with their owner. All is well now tho. I can hear the little ones dust bathing in the clean pine shavings. They are so funny.

I have trouble some times with the dogs around here as well. I live in the country though, so the dogs are a little rowdier than your city dogs, as well as hard muscle. It takes more than a screwdriver to run them off, usually a skateboard or nice thick stick will do the trick...sometimes..

Yes when DH went looking for something he was looking for pellet gun. I did hit the one with the screwdriver. And they took off home or to bug someone else. They never growled at me and were even wagging their tails. I don't want to hurt them after all they are just dogs. Not their fault. We live on a creek and we have all sorts of critters. But some how it doesnt seem so bad when its wild animals after your critters. It is still bad just not the same.
