I love taking photos of my chickens, and it's so easy to take a hundred or more at one time!
Close-ups are my favorite, too, but they are hard to get as they usually shake their head or move just as you push the button.
But, after about a thousand photos since last April when I got the new chicks, I have gotten a "few" close-ups that are pretty good.
"Esther" - 34 wk SLW
"Joy" - 8 month old RS
"Love" - 9 month old EE (1-4-11) in the nesting box
"Truth" - 34 wk old EE dust bathing
"Naomi" - 8 + month old GLW dust bathing
I've got more, but these are for "starters".
I looked at everyone's photos, and they are all great, and some are breathtaking! Keep up the good work.
Here's some more photos for those who just can't get enough of chickens!
Actually, I have a separate SD card for the camera, so that I can take as many as I want,
but other family members can still take photos on another SD card without fear of running out of space.
There have been several times that I've put my "chicken" SD card in our digital photo frame, and there have
been complaints about all the chicken photos. Today, when someone commented on the photo of "Love" in
the nesting box being "beautiful", another family member said, "How can it be beautiful, if it's a chicken?"
I guess you have to be a true "chicken-lover" to appreciate photos of chickens.
"Hope" - 27 wk RS
Another one of "Esther" (26 wks - SLW) on the chicken coop roof - one of her favorite "look-outs"
