I don't know what breed she was; our neighbor brought her to me as a tiny chick (with a bad sinus infection) from her batch of easter chicks to cheer me up after my rooster died of cancer. She was awesome though, huge personality in a small package.

She's tough to photograph. She's CONVINCED that my camera is food and won't stop pecking at it. I even backed away from her and she jumped up onto my head leaning over my face to peck the camera. Too bad I don't have a photo of that!
