Close ups!!! Post your best close up pics of your chicken

4 of the hens have been broody for a couple of weeks now but this was taken at dusk when everyone decided this was the best spot in the coop and piled on. You know the winner of the contest is the one that can get in the farthest back corner and underneath the most bodies. This time it was my lavender ROO!!!!!! I guess he missed the training session on "Protect the girls at all times" and went for the best spot in the pile.

This girl was given to me with another that looked just like her with the hack job beak trimming....the one survivor of the fox masacere. She's not super pretty but has an awesome personality!
We call her The Beakless Wonder!

I have more pictures of her than any other chicken because everytime the camera comes out shes right in front of it as fast as her little legs can carry her hahaha
