Closed!! 2011 Spring Seed Swap

Unfortunately I don't this year. I got these seeds from another grower. I planted 9 and had only 2 come up...which is fine because I was only planning on planting 2! I am really not sure what I am going to do with them....they are so stinkin hot!!! LOL But I am going to give them a shot. I have decided that I am going to at least eat the end off of one of them...and then probably pass out!!

I get heirloom seeds from http://www.tomatobob.com. I am pretty sure he has Bhut Jolokia, but they are pretty expensive if I remember correctly (something like $7 for 10 seeds). I also order a lot from http://www.rareseeds.com and http://www.seedsavers.com.

Okay, Seeds are in the mailbox waiting for the mailman! I forgot to ad my wants list, but that is ok, there was really on one thing on my list, so I will live...

Only thing I'm really looking for is Ginormous Pumpkins, MIL grew them last year and they were a lot of fun. We score our names into them Early then Race to see who's grows biggest! Brother In law won last year
hmm.png
.Then we enter the Biggest into a local Biggest Pumpkin contest, but even our biggest was puney compared to the biggest there

Plus our son should about 5 months by then and Giant pumkins will make for great first Halloween pictures

So glad you like them, they did not come out as well as I wanted, glad they stayed in one piece getting there? Did you notice the one that has your name on it? The chicken pics came from Etsy. Love that site, need to start another store myself.

You sound like my DH with all the chiles, we must have had over 24 chiles (all his) something called California Red Chiles by the hispanic guys he works with must say really pretty and when dryed we strung them and gave them like a bouquet for Xmas. But the flavor and scent of them is fabulous I can't eat as hot as I used to but love cooking with these non the less for the nose and he adds extra diced to everything plus his Habenero sauce! I will have to look into some of these you are planting so maybe we can take up less room seems these he has are hardy everyone he started sprouted and grew. I just like my poblano's for cooking, and maybe a serrano for heat/flavor.

Which one of the Bhuts and Fatalias would you suggest?? I'll get them as a surprise!
