CLOSED - NYD Hatch-along Contest #4: Most Ingenious Chicken Product Design

I just happened to notice that my watering system is listed in the going section as lacy blue and not TMNfarm...
I'm so sorry about that! My mistake. I tried to get the poll edited but Huddler has a rule about editing polls: "Once a poll is started, it can't be edited. You'd need to create a new poll to change any of the information on it. We have it this way to keep people from changing what people are voting for retroactively."

Since there are already so many votes on this poll I can't delete it. Again, I'm really sorry about the mistake. I'll triple check next time to be sure I have things all correct.

Brechin and Daloorashens are neck and neck.

What happens if there is a tie?

After much discussion, the Staff decided that a poll is not the best way to handle this contest. Therefore, due to Staff concerns about the voting process not being applied fairly for many members and the validity of votes, the Staff have decided that they as a group will choose the winner. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you all for your wonderful entries. This has been a learning process for everyone involved and we hope the next hatch-along will run much smoother.

We Have A Winner!!!

The winner is gabrielle1976 with her Lego Chick Mobile!
I invinted a chick mobile for my little butter who coudnt stand up for a few weeks after hatching.

Useing my sons legos I made a frame with wheels that was tall enough for her good foot to touch the ground

I then cut up sevral pieces of wash clothe (so I could change them regularly) with leg holes and a hole for her to pooh out of and sewed that onto the lego frame.

I later added another lego piece that made a flat shelf in front of her on wich I could put chick crumble, I cant find a picture of that.
I added legos to raise the hight as she grew , and had plans to change over to pvc pipe when she out grew the legos but by then she had started being able to stand up and walk on her own with a limp.

Great job to everyone who posted pictures and to Brinsea for donating the prize!

A friend of mine has some chickens with comb frostbite. I would like to make her a hat like the blue one posted in your picture. Could you please provide me with the pattern.😁
