Cloth Diapering

In fact I highly recommend that you go to www.cottonbabies.com That's BGs actual website and if you signup for their newsletter you get emails when they put their seconds on sale which is a KILLER way to save money!

I second this! I have bought many seconds from BG and they were all wonderful. Seconds means second quality, like there might be a tiny blemish on them somewhere. Perhaps the stitching wasn't 100% straight or a snap was a tiny bit off center. HOnestly, I bought 5-6 diapers and could only find the blemish on one of them. It is never anything that effects the function of the diaper, only cosmetic. But I think I paid 9 dollars each or something crazy instead of 20 or whatever they are now.

If you can believe it, they had those things 21 years ago when my son was born. I used cloth diapers until I went back to work (daycare doesn't allow cloth) and I used a service.

Hey! I forgot about this thread! Thanks for pulling it back up!

I did go with cloth and LOVE it! I did prefolds with covers until my son was about 2 or 3 months, then switched to pockets. I hated the microfiber inserts though, so I used the prefolds to stuff them and it is soooo much better! So far I have been dong it for 6 months and would never use disposables again!

Yay! Glad you love it. My husband and I have been cloth diapering our 19 month old since birth and recently opened a cloth diaper store/website. We love it! I use a lot of fitteds (mostly bamboo or organic cotton) and wool right now.
