Clothing display to coop!

I love repurposing odd things and making them useful in new ways! This is my second repurposed coop. My first was made from a bunk bed and a child’s armoire. I’ll see if I can find pictures of that one, but for now I want to share how I made a clothing display into a coop. Am I a carpenter? Far from it, but what I lack in skill I make up for in determination, and sometimes it works out. You can do this! If you see potential in something, go for it.
So I spotted my repurposing ‘candidate’ while clearing a friends shop. Two cedar tripods with a rod in between for hanging clothes. I have no idea what made me think chicken coop, but my mind grabbed hold of it and would not let I go. I dragged the two tripods, or t-pees, if you will, home and got to work. Trial and error...mostly error at first, and painstakingly slow progress finally led me to a livable coop. I won’t exhaust you with a step by step, because I’m not really sure I could actually recount my crazy and unprofessional steps, but here are some before and after pictures, not so much for my benefit, although I am happy with the outcome, but to encourage you! You can do this, trust me.

You say you're not a carpenter but I disagree. You need a very varied skillset to create something like this and pull it off. So not only are you a carpenter but you're also an architect, engineer, artist and builder!
