Cloudy Days in the Coop - My Adventures with Chickens.

Well, the storm has passed, and it's been a beautiful day today. There was no free-ranging, however, because there was a lot of predator sightings. (The pack of coyotes is back, and one of the children in my area thought they saw a bear). I found out about that after I took these pictures, otherwise I wouldn't have been out in the forest myself. It’s definitely becoming fall! After that nice rain, the creeks’s been rising slowly. I am having a small break of the rain currently, but I expect it to be back soon. Kiki has been doing great, by the way. The picture is of her good side of her face, but she’s healing! Anyway, a few pictures from the day:

That moss....
I love moss. It's so soft and "gentle." Easy on the eyes, and it makes everything looks so comforting and peaceful.

I totally agree with you! Maybe next time I take pictures in the forest, I’ll get some extra pictures with moss. I have a lot of it in my woods.
