I'd offer you my five broodies, except I only just managed to break them (minus one).

Actually, I'm trying to rehome one silkie-game bantam mix pullet who had strong mothering skills. What is the catch, you ask? She comes with a rooster

Good morning Starburst! Wow, when clouds clear, your skies are gorgeous! Better break out the sunglasses and sunscreen. As usual, stunning photos and your flock is gorgeous!!! Give your gals some hugs for me, broody Boba gets treats and extra hugs for yourself.

Well, the past few days of weather have certainly announced Autumn is here! Yesterday, the chickens got some free-range time, but then it began to hail! It was so very thick - I could hardly see the forest from my house. As pictured, my deck was covered in hailstones in a few seconds. It lasted for about 10 minutes. The beginning of yesterday was the in the 50’s Fahrenheit, but it’s now in the 20-30’s. This was quite a surprise for me, as it’s usually a gradual decline in temperatures. Today, the morning was beautiful with the first frost, and the cold might (emphasize might), have helped snap Boba out of her brooding spell. She was walking about quite happily today. Anyway, some pictures from the past few days:

Boba is doing great! I haven't seen her in her nesting box all day so far!
Snow on Monday! That's so exciting! I hope it'll come and help with the dryness over there. You'll have to let me know!

Glad to hear Boba is out of the nest! Hopefully she stays out!!

Well - awesome news! Boba hasn't been broody for about three days now, and she's back with the flock! I think the cold weather I’ve been having did the trick! Me and my flock have been experiencing beautiful, frosty days, and it has become the season of frozen waterers. A few pictures:
