Cloudy Egg- what the heck? pic included

My guess is that the dissolved carbon dioxide is not escaping through the pores of the shell like a typical egg. Maybe she is getting too much calcium and her shells are really dense? That is my guess. It Is a cloudy white, right? Not pinkish or greenish-blue? If it is any other color than pure white I would not eat it. Other colors besides white indicate a presence of certain types of bacteria - and it is inadvisable to eat it.

But if it is white it should be fine to eat.

I agree. The white clears as the carbon dioxide is released thru the pores in the shell. For some reason it didn't release from that one maybe? That's all I can think of. Go ahead and age one of her eggs for about a week and see if it doesn't clear up.
