I am just wondering if anyone knows why sometimes the egg white is cloudy and sometimes it is clear? I am fairly new to all of this so I would appreciate the feedback. Hens are about 1 year old. thanks

I would not be too concerned about this.
Very fresh eggs contain carbon dioxide gas in the white which gives it a slightly cloudy look. As the egg gets older this gas dissipates and the white turns clear. This info is taken from the Storey's Guide to Raising Chickens which is a great book.
Basically you have very fresh eggs!
There may be some diseases / nutrition imbalances that cause egg white problems but I think the above is the most likely explanation.
