Would like to know if anyone has used clove oil to numb an area of pain on chickens? Or used it before preforming a procedure like casting a sprain, plucking feathers, removing infected tissue ect.

If so, how did it work out?

Was a curious question.

Clove oil can help with tooth ache, but then chickens don't have teeth after they no longer have an egg tooth.
I wouldn't use it without extensive research.
Good luck

I read it can numb skin in about 5 - 10mins, so I was curious if anyone has used it in this manner for treating chickens.

There's very little information. It must be safe from what I've read so far though. It's for anti picking, & pest repellent for chickens, & their coop.

Just can't find what I'm looking for.
