Laufen nodded and hopped over to Veritas. She started to dig near the chief doe, scraping the earth away with her claws.

Falke hovered high in the air a moment, then over the river. He neared the swamp and landed in a willow near the soupy waters. He could see the Swamp warren nearby. Cocking his head, he bent over and looked the stunned rabbit in the eye, blinking.
 
Rissa helped Laufen dig the hole and gently laid Vera's body in it, Rest well, may you have swift running and clear days, farewell Chief Veritas. Rissa said softly.

The rabbits gasped and shared nervous glances. "Are you certain, fox?" Fett asked, feat crawling up his throat.
 
Caspian's ears and sides were sore from Vera's grip of steel and her serrated nails. There was a small hole in his right ear but Fitz assured him it would close up in some time. He was quickly cleaned up and given some herbs. "Your fine to go, just be take it easy, you'll heal faster." Fitz suggested as he began working on Vetch. He tried to wake the doe by gently shaking her. "Vetch? Ma'am? Vetch are you awake?"

Vetch startled awake, and she shook Fitz off of her and attempted to stand up, “Where am I? What happened, Fitz?“ Dizziness soon caught up to her and she toppled over back into the nest.
She groaned, her muscles ached. All in a days work, She thought.
”How are you holding up, Caspian?” She had heard him snuffling in the nest besides her, “I truly cannot believe that you weren’t killed.“ She chuckled. She shook her ears, trying to wake herself up. ”Fitz, where’s Bella? I need to speak with her immediately.”
