Fett watched carefully.

Veritas scribbled a crude message on the bark in front of her:

"Chief Roger,
I have in my prison burrows 2 of your second ranking rabbits who unexpectedly attacked us, a doe and a buck. All I ask in return is your loyalty and the Prairie Warren. Answer quickly. I will not hesitate to make things rather uncomfortable for our guests.

Vera chuckled to herself, knowing it was a stretch but she might as well try. The Prairie Warren was much too bonded together for her liking. She also believed Roger wasn't the brightest rabbit and hoped he would act on his feelings, not just mind. She hopped out of her burrow, spotting Twister and the fox immediately. "YOU!" She looked to Twister and pointed in front of her, ignoring the fox as it obviously meant no harm. She would deal with trespassing foxes later. "Come here!" Vera ordered.

*twister was still watching the fox when she called. It wasn't hunting, he could tell. So he quickly went to obey the chief doe.*

"Bring this to the Prarie Warren." She threw the bark at his paws. "Try not to die, I want a response from Chief Roger as soon as possible." She turned back to her burrow with a thump of annoyance.

[Cold-Blood]

“I only said rats.” Laufen growled. “And they live by the riverbanks and they’ve basically infested the two-leg buildings. Go get them. As for the thickets, we’re trying to get away from you. Obviously. So stop following us!” And she suddenly jumped up and kicked the fox in the chin with both footpaws. Falling on her back, she quickly twisted around and ran into the thickest park of the thorn bushes- where Reynard couldn’t follow.

Reynard sat back and worked his jaw. He knew where they were going, and had his own special route to the heart of the thicket burrows. Getting up, his nose caught the scent of several things, most all of them in a confusing jumble. Another fox, yes. Rabbits, death. One other, that chilled him to the bone. He howled a urgent warning to all creatures within hearing range, and dashed off to his entrance in the thickets.

Getting up, his nose caught the scent of several things, most all of them in a confusing jumble. Another fox, yes. Rabbits, death. One other, that chilled him to the bone. He howled a urgent warning to all creatures within hearing range, and dashed off to his entrance in the thickets.

Twister: yes Chief! *he said before bounding off. Though he really didn't like the way she ruled the warren.*

Laufen heard the howl and the fur rose along her spine. Don’t follow, don’t follow- her mind pleaded, but she could hear and scent the fox coming after her. She heard Luna trudge behind her, and she burst into the warren’s clearing. @Barred Rock Mama She cried out an alarm, hoping that the strong warriors of the Thicket Burrows colony could help her chase the fox off. She whipped around, waiting for Reynard to make his appearance, her ears held back to listen for any rabbit’s approach.

Reynard tore heedlessly through the thickets, his coat being shredded more every second. He burst into the thicket burrows. "Two legs! Run! Hide! It's killing!"
-Crack!-
Reynard plowed into the ground and crawled into the nearest bramble on his belly.

Laufen’s adrenaline spiked when she heard the gunshot. Fear froze her for a second, then she tore off in the direction that Reynard was crawling. “I at least don’t want you to get killed by a two-legs, of all the creatures.” She hissed at him. She hopped in front of him, leading him to the thickest part of the bramble, where even the rabbits didn’t like going into. There were roots thick upon the ground. “Try to hide in there.” She said.

Vera quickly dove into her burrow. A fox and a little rabbit. She immediately felt the urge to make her presence known to both creatures and tell them to get the heck out of her burrows, but, obviously, her life mattered a little bit more. That fox was running from something. Fett hopped up beside her. "Ma'am -" there was a sudden

crack!

Fett immediately stopped talking. Vera's nose twitched, her heart pounding, glad that Fett had gotten the kits, her future warriors, into the burrows.
