Noel glanced up at him. "Its their fault that Twig died." She said, quickly.

"Wha- What?" She looked up at him, defeat in her eyes. "Of course it was! They weren't paying attention!"

"Wha- What?" She looked up at him, defeat in her eyes. "Of course it was! They weren't paying attention!"

"I'm sure they were paying attention just fine. They wouldn't have known that the hawk was coming. Hawks are fast!" He nearly yelled. He didn't really want to argue. Especially with his own mate.

Rex gave her a huggish thing. "Don't worry. I won't. We will just have to be more cautious next time."
