*Clovers and Cottontails* A Wild Rabbit RP

"Alethea!!" Becca called again. She hopped out after her.
Alethea was in shock. She was so scared and had never felt like this in her life. She stopped crying and lay there, her eyes were wide open, and her legs were stiff and so was the rest of her body. She simply froze out of shock and couldn't do anything about it. She was breathing heavily, trying to catch her breath, her chest heaving up and down, rapidly.

Alethea fell to the ground, devastated, in pain, and crying. "Wait no. Wait no. Stop. No." She whispered as series of words to herself as she cried.

(Oh gosh. Now I feel like crying 😭)
The eagle flew over to the Thicket Burrows where it was going to eat Dandylion. It stopped and dropped him right next the warren. All the rabbits were still inside of their burrow since the eagle was coming for them before. Rex tapped his foot to tell them that the coast was clear and hopped out of the burrow, not knowing that the eagle was there. He saw the eagle and a nearly dead Dandylion right next to him. His anger riled up inside of him and he charged at the eagle that was getting ready to eat his friend. The eagle squawked and flew away since he charged at it when it wasn't paying attention. Rex grabbed Dandylion and pulled him into the burrows.

(Don't worry! He won't actually get killed by the eagle.)

"Alethea, you need to get up," Becca told her. She didn't want the eagle to come back and grab her too. It was her duty to take care of all the other rabbits, so she needed to get Alethea back inside.

Noel saw the limp figure in Rex's arms. She ran up beside him. "Who is i- Dandylion?" The rabbit looked dead as they dragged him into the burrows. His limp body was bleeding badly. Noel said nothing and helped her mate.

Velvet poked her head out of the burrow to see what was going on.

Alethea barely herd her. She began to shake and thrash on the ground. It was small movement, but very violent. She could barely breathe as her terrified and weak little body took control of her. Her vision soon blurred and she fell unconscious. Her body went limp and stopped shaking.

*striker cautiously emerged from the burrow and hopped over the Alethea and Becca.*

*natanya shook her head before emerging from the burrow as well.*

Sequestered away as well as the next rabbit, Hollis threw her ears back in surprise as she saw what they'd just dragged in. "How on earth did you recover him?" They'd, quite frankly, had to leave Dandylion for aerial death just moments before. So to see him both on the ground and apparently less than entirely expired was a shock.
(The eagle flew to a different burrow where Hollis isn't. He's in Thicket and your in Prairie ;))
