Hello chicken people. I am new to the forum and new to chicken keeping but a lover since childhood. I have just started my small flock with 2 mature hens, Cocoa Chanelle- Cream Legbar, Crystal Blue - an EE, and the chicks all under 7 wks. Martina - BC Maran pullet, I hope, Boo, - Columbian Rock pullet, Rusty (husband named) Ameraucana ?, Chicklet - Ameraucana?, Annie Oakley - SF Hen ?, Heidi -SF Hen?, and two unnamed blue Izbar chicks ?. So far these feather dusters are spoiled rotten and handled as much as possible. They have 2 sheltie family members who are not sure if they are toys or something to protect. The grandkids love the green eggs and look forward to a spectrum of egg colours. Would like to add a buff and chocolate orp. and a black Australorp. No roos so my biggest start question is, of course, who are the girls and who are the boys. Really hoping Rusty is a pullet.
