Duckling cuteness overload... Your Sultan hen looks so sweet with the ducklings. Is she just curious or dose she want to mother them?

Thanks Actually, she is the "Mother" to these babies, her and the muscovy hen shared the nest from the beginning, and when they hatched, the babies prefered to be with the sultan, but the wierd part is that my sultan was 6 months old when she went broody.

Yes, they have a pond, but I have been nervous with them going into it......I am a worried parent haha

Lol my Araucana pullets both went broody !they are 8mths only been laying 2 mths

24 eggs 12 sent 1 silkie 1 ligh sussex hatches so I am not happy so the guy sends 12 more and 3 silkies hatch. Not Happy

I wanted Light Sussex but the guy couldn't fill the order so he sends half half

1 LS hatched

Wow, that must be really cool to watch them parent the ducklings. You should take some video of them if you can. I would love to see them in action.
