Hello! I'm a New Egg here to BYC. I've had chickens for several years. I have Silver Laced Polish, Barred Rock, Buff Cochin, and Silkies. I also have guinea fowl. Aside from poultry, we raise polypayxdorper sheep and registered Black Angus cattle. Throw in 3 wild kids, some donkeys, ponies, and a pet pig and you'll have The Weddle Farm.

Absolutely. It's a two-breed cross of polypay and dorper, with a Hampshire for the third cross (a breed rotation program). We take advantage of hybrid vigor with the prolificacy in the polypays and the size of the hamps.
