[Clearwater Chicken]

Hello everyone!

I'm glad to see people joining me so quickly!

@Friendly_Lurker - Wow you have lots of chickens and other animals! I am trying to slowly expand my mini farm!

@Clearwater Chicken - Hi, nice to have you here! I also have some trouble keeping certain plants alive! Sometimes gardening drives me nuts, and other times not.

@Tamdog - I had boxers growing up. I see you like a lot of the stuff I like!

It just ticked over to noon where I am. I have 14 chickens 5 Buff Brahmas (My favorites) 5 game fowl (Still trying to figure out kind thank you TSC) 4 Amber links. 1 Dog (mixed rescue) 3 Cats (All rescues). I like to garden but my vegetables always come up a little short. I prefer fruit trees they take a little longer to get the reward but I find it very satisfying. Glad to see what you all are up to.

I would love bees just don't have any idea where to start... and I should probably get my feet on the ground a little with chickens before go on any more adventures

Nice thread! Hi I’m Nigel from Bella Coola BC. Between my 11yr old(Casey), my 9 yr old (Kiara) and me, we’ve got two cats, two dogs, 10 chicks, guppies, goldfish, pleco, western toad, leopard gecko, a white slug and a snail. We have a small plot less than an acre w a cherry tree, small greenhouse w tomatoes peppers and cukes. I’m growing peas, beans, cilantro, cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, squash, pumpkin, chard, and hopefully I’ll get to planting my carrots and potatoes today, and I still need some beet seeds. 8 of my chicks are Ayam Cemani x barred rock x Orpington. And the newest two are unknown mix w some bantam in there. I spoil my chicks w a homemade chick starter w nettles, seaweed, pine buds, lentils, cornmeal, flax, coconut, egg, cracked wheat, sand, and now I’m starting to sprout wheat, lentils and flax for them. Their favorite food is dandelion petals!

Bees? Wow! I've always been curious about raising bees. Maybe you can teach me more about them!

Welcome to the chat! Yeah, TSC gets there breeds/colors/sex/everything wrond all the time! I'm glad you rescued your dog and cats, though!
