All of mine had names, until I hatched some mix-breed chicks who I need to rehome. Out of four chicks, I got one girl who I unconsciously named "Hen-chick", who we rehomed recently, and three unnamed boys who will probably become somebody's dinner. Oh, and next year I want to raise meat birds, and I won't name those.

Oh, and most of my chickens are named after characters in books, with a few exceptions (such as Hen-chick and Valor). My pigeons (only two so far) are named after famous war pigeons (Cher Ami and Commando).

We have a few. Muffy is an ameraucana mix. She always comes up to me. Maybe about muffy #3 actually

Blackn is an ayemi cemani and she always is very curious and always let's me pic her up.

Oreo is a Wyandotte mix and that crazy bird demands for me to hand feed her. I didn't train her she just would run up and jump at me even if I threw scratch.

We have about 5 "grays"

Floppsy has a laid over comb.

White girls

Blue is the most gentle rooster I've ever owned. Blue copper maran. He just walks up to the girls & if they don't want him he just walks to another.

The other 35 or so have some names referring to the breed or temperament
