Not sure how predator proof it is or how to test. The "fencing" seems to be buried nicely. I would like to reinforce the fencing. Not sure if I should close the door to the coop at night (the building vs the building and outdoor run).

Close all the doors. The fencing should be 1/2" hardware cloth. There should be no gaps larger than 1/2" anywhere in the coop.

Welcome Nice to have you here! Congrats on the new home and flock!! First rule for security.... forget about chicken wire. Not a deterrent for many predators. DobieLover is right, many of us have learned the hard way

Welcome to Backyard Chickens. Please listen to Dobie Lover, she really knows how to protect her birds. Also please close the coop door so chickens learn to come back to the coop at dusk and roost in there. It's just another layer of protection for them
