I have five WH ducklings that are about 9 weeks old. All are doing fine except one that seems "clumsy". She stumbles over small stones or the garden edging as she follows the other ones. I think her feet cross over too much but I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if she will outgrow it. Thanks!

Thanks! I went to the link and I think my duck would have a mild case right now. Somewhere between duck A&B. It was a perfectly normal duckling a few weeks ago. I will try the niacin today.

Let us know how it goes but it usually will clear up after starting the niacin.

It will depend on how much she needs to catch up. Storey's Guide recommends about a ten week course of niacin for ducklings that have shown signs of deficiency.

We have started to give her bird vitamins as well as add to water a vitamin electrolyte mixture recommended at the feed store. It is very sad when she slips getting out of thee Koi pond and fall on her back in the water. She immediately uprights herself I just feel bad. Thanks for the advise

OK after a week and half or so on vitamins in the water and drops in her bill she seemed to be doing better. Today she seemed clumsier than ever and her balance is awful! When she eats she looks like the cartoon buzzard, her head all bent over and her butt on the ground. I can only find niacin in flush free and time release can I use either of these?
