One of my hens (not sure which) has started laying eggs with a cluster of miniscule white "balls" in the egg white next to the yoke. Does anyone have an idea of what this may be and if the eggs are still edible? I want to guess that they're calcium deposits, but I don't know. I guess I want to make sure they're not some kind of parasite or bacteria.

I have no idea whatsoever... but can you post a picture? I'm sure somebody here will have an answer
I agree, a picture would be helpful. I'll try to get one, although it may be a few days before I crack that particular egg again (I'm not sure which one it is).
