that is why I go, just to be with like minded people. these are the ones that enable me to get more chickens. lol
my kids love the new ducks we picked up today. they are actually fighting over who gets to keep them, that is a total first in my house, someone wanting to do work, really????
joanie, you have alot going on and every little bit helps, that is a great facebook page you made for the club.

Hoppy, what a dedicated worker you are for the good of the club.

Wish I had more time to help out....

I had a great time today, I got to meet so many people- helps when I walk around and sell 50/50 raffle tickets. I also learned so many names and was able to put names with faces (and I hope many of them will now remember me in a good way )
we took in a good amount of money between the raffle table and the 50/50- not sure how the auction went, I missed most of that. quite an eventful day!!
I even had pictures taken of my beautiful birds by a professional photographer so I can't wait to see how they turned out. one of my silkies was a riot when she was having hers done. she would turn and look over her shoulder, fluff her head like a super model, just too funny!!
And she won best non standard color in the show, all birds competing!!

forgot to add that my son won with his silkies, best of breed, reserve of breed and 2 best of variety.

Congratulations to all of you, your birds were just stunning! yes, please feel free to use any photos you like. If you want, the next time you have a show in the area I would be happy to volunteer to take pictures. I'm not a pro by any stretch but I can get some good shots sometimes I also did not know you had a facebook page! I am so excited, I'm going to go and check it out right now
