Our RIR is a neat freak. She keeps everybody clean. Got a speck of dirt on your beak? Sally Henny Penny will clean it for you. Leaf stuck in your feathers? Sally's got your back. Incidentally, chickens blink when they peck.

I have a hen like that. She's going on eleven years, and has the self declared role of keeping all the other nineteen flock faces clean. The only time others get into this role is when they spot Ethel an EE with slovenly eating habits that coat her beard in perpetual food residue. I've seen others try to clean her up, but it usually results in losing some of her beard each time they try.
