Sadly, we've had our first encounter with Cocci. We're raising 15 broilers and 7 are already gone, about 8 weeks old. We've medicated them as chicks, and then after the "outbreak" with Corid in the water soluble form. Followed with Probiotics. But they just keep fading. Our plan is to harvest the remaining "healthy" looking birds a little early. What are the concerns with eating birds that have been exposed but aren't sick yet. We would be doubly vigilant in processing them and cleaning them thoroughly. Any advice is appreciated. I hate Cocci!
