I have 4-6 month old pullets and 3-4 week old chicks kept separately. We’re in the height of the rainy season in South Ga. I lost 4 chicks last week to what I think is a cocci - bloody poop, lethargy, hunched posture, ruffled feathers. I started treated with Corrid last week for both my littles and my older pullets because I noticed diarrhea and bloody poop with the older pullets too. The little chicks were almost all well for 24 hours but then the next morning they had bloody/diarrhea poo again. My sickest pullet seemed to be doing better But then I found bloody pop in their run yesterday. I have 17 older pullets and 2 Roos. I don’t know who is sick and I can’t catch them to give them drops like the little ones. Any suggestions on catching them to do drops? Or other things I can treat for? I have the 9.5 % solution and I was giving 2.5 ml to the baby chicks (quart) and 10 ml for the older ones (1 gallon watered). The chicks have 1 drop orally two times a day. This is my first flock so any advice or help would be appreciated.
