Once a chicken has been diagnosed with cocci and the flock has been treated with sulmet, what comes next? Do I need to do any extra special cleaning of the coup? I have disposed of all nesting boxes because I believe that is where the problem originated. Chickens that should be roosting were in the boxes and leaving loads of poop. My coup is dirt floor. Thanks for any advice. This has really been a mess and I've lost 8 chicks and 1 adult before I realized what was going on.
