Has he seen the rooster mount the hen? My GD thought the roo was trying to kill the hen. Actually it did look like that.

Yes, he said "Mommy look! Why is he being mean to her?! He is getting her!" I told him the rooster was trying to help her make a baby, and sometimes thats hard.

You should see the bags under my eyes. No amount of sleep will get rid of them. I didn’t think you looked bad at all. You looked great. You have lost a tremendous amount of weight! Bet you feel great.

Oh no! our kids were a little grossed out, but then saw how clean thw eggs were most of the time and decided it was cool. Now they fight over who gets to collect eggs.

That's the fun part of chicken keeping, and hatching out chicks.

Have you ever tried preparation H under
your eyes for the bags? Works like a charm. Don't need a lot. I've even used just regular hemorrhoid cream and it will help reduce the swelling. Works well if you put it on at night before you go to bed and no....don't use the 'nozzle',
