Has he seen the rooster mount the hen? My GD thought the roo was trying to kill the hen. Actually it did look like that.

Yes, he said "Mommy look! Why is he being mean to her?! He is getting her!" I told him the rooster was trying to help her make a baby, and sometimes thats hard.

Oh no! our kids were a little grossed out, but then saw how clean thw eggs were most of the time and decided it was cool. Now they fight over who gets to collect eggs.

That's the fun part of chicken keeping, and hatching out chicks.

Have you ever tried preparation H under
your eyes for the bags? Works like a charm. Don't need a lot. I've even used just regular hemorrhoid cream and it will help reduce the swelling. Works well if you put it on at night before you go to bed and no....don't use the 'nozzle',

I do the same. I often seem to come on after many of you guys have gone to bed and before Cap has closed up her shop and come on. I just come on and ramble and talk to myself. When I'm sleepy I have no filter. I just babble, sometimes incoherently.

I'm immune to smallpox. They have tried at least 5 times to vaccinate me and it never takes. My last doctor told me that wasn't possible and insisted on vaccinating me again. Once again, time number 5 and no reaction. He checked both my arms and said yeah, you're right, you are immune. He said I must been exposed to it in mild form at some time of my life. All I know is that I had the German I think they used to call it 'hard' measles when I was like 7 and was sicker than a dog for about 2 weeks with them. Persistent fever for over a week till I broke out in the rash. I think I also had mild chicken pox because I've had shingles but have no memory of having chicken pox.

If you got the chicken pox shot as a child thats how you got shingles. Actually normal chicken pox rarely turns into shingles, its almost always from the form they put in the shots.
