Dumb question (I"ve asked lots of those here lately
)
I read about chickens carrying coccidia. I read about wet litter is a "breeding ground" for coccidia ( wet / moist and heat = coccidia heaven).
And then, I read about putting that same litter in a compost pile (wet / moist / heat...)?? Is it just kind of a given that there will be bugs and critters in compost and you take care of it by washing your veggies? Or am I missing something?
