Coccidia Questions

Do chicks that free range from brooder age on normally get coccidia?
Can I give my chicks sulmet when they are in the brooder for coccidia prevention?
I changed one of my questions Gonzo is not crazy.

I don't think by putting hen poo in there is going to do them any favors. Cocci occurs naturally in the soil, so at one point, they'll probally be exposed.
