Unfortunately feed store employees don't always know much about the products they sell.I stand corrected. I was told it was an antibiotic at the feed store.

Can I ask what you used to sanitize your coop? My flock have also had coccidiosis, I'm struggling to find what product if any to use in their run and coop, from my research standard disinfectant does nothing, ammonia hydroxide is the only option? And ammonia in high strengths is toxic to chickens...I locked them in the coop where it's dry and will tarp the run once it dries out. Hopefully the rain quits in the next couple days and I can get in there to sanitize the coop good. I was afraid the new birds were the culprit. Thanks!!
