Coccidia, Worms & Treatment

I have a small flock of Iowa Blues, one roo & 5 hens. A fecal sample taken to my vet showed multiple parasites, including coccidia. I bought Corid & have Ivomec pour-on 5mg/ml. Doing lots of reading, I've learned about Valbazen, & would like to know if: 1) can I use the Ivomec which I already have, or is Valbazen better? And 2) which would I treat first, the coccidia or other parasites? My vet has sent the fecal sample to a nearby state lab & as yet, I don't have all the results. I'd like to get them started on something, but perhaps I just need to be patient. At the very least, I'd like to be prepared. Any help would be appreciated! TYIA!

Welcome to BYC! You can use Corid and Valbazen at the same time. Ivermectin isn't a very good wormer for poultry.

Thank you, Kathy, that's a big help! From what I've been reading, it sounded like Valbazen was the way to go. Just wanted to make sure. I bought some after I posted, & I'm glad to know I can use both at the same time. Have a great weekend!
