If I use a brooder plate, will the chances of coccidiosis go down? I know coccidia thrives in warm and moist conditions, but aren't brooder plates a more "Controlled heat zone" unlike heat lamps that are "Uncontrolled zones'' and sorta make the whole brooder warm and/or moist.

It is true that brooder plates heat only the area underneath them, and not the air around them. I am not sure about any connection between brooder plates and a lower chance of coccidiosis, but even if they do not, they are still a great option, and much safer than heat lamps.
