Coccidiosis cleaning coop and run

what do you use and how do you use it to clean the coop and the run after a coccidiosis outbreak? Do you wait until the Corid has finished before cleaning or do you clean before and after?

I have always used barn lime to dry out an area completely. A good cleaning than dusting with the barn lime should help remove any remaining cocidia. Your birds will need to become resistant to them as they grow. You can't erratic all cocidia, but hopefully keep the numbers down until birds can build that immunity.

You posted about using "barn lime". Is that the same as hydrated, or masonry lime?

Barn lime is generally sold at the farm store. It is different than the lime used to make cement. It goes by the name of aglime as well. It's used for farm and barn use. Here's one brand from the tractor supply.
