Coccidiosis Help!

Kathy, they are three month old EEs. Not sure about the weight. They are normal sized, not bantams. What do you mean by drench? Just drops of the liquid corid? We have never, ever had issues but, as they say, when it rains in life, it pours!

You can buy a pack of Oxytetracycline for $4.95 to mix in their water in case they have an e coli infection, or other bacteria along with the coccidiosis. I don't jnow if you can give it along with Corid or not, and I don't think you'd want to risk stopping the Corid yet.

Can you post a picture?

She seems puffy and tired all the time. Could it possible be Coryza? I tried opening her eyes last night to try and look at them but it was hard and they just looked watery. I also herd her sneeze but only once. She eats so much but she still seem thin to me.

Thanks for the info! Kathy, what do you think of this suggestion? Try drops of Corid firstly? Oxytetracycline available at TSC or Southern States?

Yes, drops, or maybe drops and some amount of water with it. Do you have a 1ml syringe? The chart below shows weights for an average laying type pullet, but if yours have been sick, they probably don't weigh that amount. Can you get a scale and weigh them? Walmart and Target have them for 20$ - 30$., maybe less.

yes, plenty of syringes in chicken first aid cabinet. Never thought I would need them. Also, had the corid on hand. I don't have a scale, but I am guessing about two pounds. Would that be maybe two drops? heading out to dr. with granddaughter. As I said, when it rains......... Your information is more than valuable and I will check this immediately upon my return!
