Coccidiosis Help!

Thanks for the info!  Kathy, what do you think of this suggestion?  Try drops of Corid firstly?  Oxytetracycline available at TSC or Southern States?

I got my Oxytetracycline at TSC because everybody was out of Corid. The next day I was able to find Corid at a family owned farm supply.

So the amount of Corid I would give orally works out to 0.095ml per pound. I wold give this one, maybe two days in a row.

1 pound / 2.2 x 20 /96 = 0.09469696969ml

Can you take her to a vet? Can you order some Baytril?

Hi Kathy, I don't know a vet around my area that knows anything about chickens so I may have to call around. I am going to call the place I got her from because I'm really upset she is this sick and I just got her Saturday. Thank you for all of your help!! You're amazing!

If she takes her back they might not try to save her. I'd save that little soul first and then ask for compensation for treating her illness, or just let it go and be glad the girl is safe in a loving home.

If the bird has a contagious disease like mycoplasma or coryza, it's not a risk worth taking. Why risk the health of the rest of your flock or any new birds?
